The jar is 10.5 cm (4.1 inches) in height without the lid and 12.5 cm (4.9 inches) in diameter. Please be aware that one of the jars with three holes down the front has been glazed inside.
Keep your garlic fresh and within easy reach with this handcrafted ceramic garlic jar. Each jar was hand thrown on the wheel using British stoneware clay for a durable finish for everyday use. The jar features a rounded body with ledge for the lid to sit for a snug fit. Carved holes on the sides provide a gap for the air to circulate around the garlic and inside remains unglazed to create a dry environment. The domed lid with a thrown knob adds a decorative touch to each jar. Each one has been glazed in a striking speckled blue colour which has a glossy finish to the touch. The bottom has been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery logo marking it out as a handmade item.
