Padella restaurant London

At the moment I’m in the process of creating 75 utensil holders as a wholesale order for the restaurant Padella. It’s a walk up Italian pasta restaurant located in London. They have two locations one in Southwark Street and the other in Phipp Street. I’ve actually been making utensil holders for Padella for a number of years now so if you’ve been its likely that you’ll have come across them!

These utensil holders are for table seated guests at the restaurant and are a simple tube design. Each one is glazed in simply clay inside as a practical choice - the high gloss glaze is easy to clean at the end of the day. The outside of them is natural brown for a textural contrast. The brown gives a kind of rustic look for a pasta restaurant which I also think is an interesting touch.

It’ll probably take about 8 weeks to complete the full set of 75 but they’ll be starting to dispatch to the restaurant from next week. If your in the London area go give their pasta a whirl!
