Pricing increases

The beginning of April is the end of the accounting year and with it brings a bit of change. I haven’t updated my prices in a year and the cost of running the business has increased across the board in the last 12 months. Everything from raw materials, packaging, firings. This increase has been about 10% so you’ll now find some increased prices in the shop to compensate for the sustained increase in costs.

The biggest change is for international customers though with Royal Mail changing post to Europe. European postage is now blocked into zones 1/2/3 whereas previously it was all just one price. With problems in the postal network December and January I also took the decision to send out all international mail tracked. This does cost more but gives you the security of knowing where your parcel is even if the network is experiencing delays to service.

There are still sale items available in the shop and the pricing of these hasn’t increased but once they’re gone then they won’t be restocked at that price point. There are some bargains still yet to be found!

Costs for Wholesale customers will also be increasing slightly in line with other pricing adjustments.

It’s been a challenging year for being in business - I put off increasing prices for as long as possible since I bulk purchase clay and other materials but unfortunately it can only be put off for so long. Thanks for your understanding.
