This platter was hand crafted as a one of a kind piece featuring a unique design. Crafted from white stoneware clay, it has a wide ledge and shallow foot ring on the bottom for stability. The surface of the plate in the centre is decorated with a hand painted countryside scene featuring a lone tree and a patchwork of fields. Finished with a transparent glaze in 'Simply Clay' it allows the slip colours underneath to shine through.
