New Look Workroom Project Runway pattern NL6120

I picked up this pattern a while ago as I was looking for a dress to make that would be at about my sort of level – simple, easy and not too time consuming! Although generally I’m quite pleased with how it turned out but as always it could be better. This is a kimono style dress which has a sort of large t-shirt shape with no waist shaping.

Gillies Fabrics York

While I was at the Chocolate festival in York I dropped by Gillies Fabrics to indulge in some fabric shopping! My Mum had recommended this shop to me but struggled to find it again, sometimes York can be disorientating with it’s twisty narrow alleys.

I’m still playing catch-up and I’m also reducing the number of days I’m going to the post office to come into contact with less people. All mail will be dispatching on Thursdays every week, watch out for that notification dropping.
