Last year I received some orders for commemorative plates to celebrate weddings, I’ll admit sometimes customers come up with the best items that I wish I’d thought of myself! I’ve now added these custom plates to the shop.
2015 has been another huge year for Little Wren Pottery and while every year is important it’s fascinating how much of a difference a year makes! I’ve been so busy in the lead up to the Christmas season which really started to ‘snowball’ in mid November leading to the early closure of made to order items.
Small businesses like mine really rely on the support and daily assistance of other people. It’s so easy when your making to get lost in the process and have very little time to stop and take stock.

I’m still getting a lot of inquiries for yarn bowls this Christmas and I just wanted to quickly clear things up about them a little.
I don’t hold yarn bowls ‘in stock’ they are all made and glazed to order. For this reason I closed orders for yarn bowls early back on November 23rd because I was no longer able to guarantee a pre-Christmas delivery for pieces ordered after this time.

I’ve had quite a few inquiries as to my last postage dates, I am still taking orders for Christmas but below you’ll find detailed information about last ordering dates. I’ve separated these out for orders for in stock items and lead times needed to make made to order items.
Dates may extend, or shorten, depending upon demand in the run up to Christmas. If you have something specific in mind then place your order well before the last dates to guarantee delivery!
On November 1st you’ll find me and a variety of great artists and crafts people in Masham town hall selling our work at Crafted by Hand. The range is quite diverse from jewellery to printmaking. I’ve selected a few artists to showcase, you can find links to their work below.
