Goodbye glazes!

Over the next few months I’m going to be changing the glaze chart. Spring is a great time to do this since I can more easily run down the glazes I’ll be discontinuing.

Pepper Glaze

The first one of the glazes to go will be Pepper Yellow. I’ve stopped taking orders for plates and yarn bowls in this colour. I’ll be glazing stock items with the remainder of this glaze so you’ll be able to get it only for a limited time. If your desperate for a piece in this colour you can always get in touch and let me know I’ll likely have it for another month or so.

Yarn bowl styles comparison

Recently I received an email about the sizing of yarn bowls, I’ve tacked this subject before but not for a while. I always felt the photos in that particular post could of been better. At the time I didn’t have any completed yarn bowls to compare just biscuit fired ones.

Cute animal plates and mugs

Late last year I started to experiment with decorating coupe plates with a bear and cat design. These are simple cartoon style designs which have a silhouette look to them. You might have seen a few of them pop into the shop or at events leading up to Christmas. They’re decorated in a variety of slip colours – grey, yellow, pink and blue.

Buttonbag DIY kit Advent Calendar

Merry and bright

We’re now deep into Advent, hopefully your on top of all those Christmas jobs! A couple of years ago I created this DIY Advent Calendar by Buttonbag. It’d been ages since I’d had an advent calendar. Since I was a kid in fact, I’d never really bothered with them as I’ve gotten older. As an adult I wanted something that was going to be a bit more interesting than the colourful ones for kids.
