Tivoli red now in stock!

If you’ve been keeping an eye on my shop you might have noticed a new glaze in the collection. Its something you guys asked for in my customer survey and I wanted to formally introduce it to you now that I’ve had some time to play with it.

Tivoli red is a beautiful ruby red glaze. It creates real statement pieces just because its so deeply red! I’m in love with this glaze since its so nice to work with.

Pottery now in red!

Crafting together

Its been a while since I posted anything that was directly craft / making related. I was asked the other day by Amity of the UK Etsy blog if I could provide some photos of me and my dad together both what we’re like now and when I was young.

Hand thrown mugs a work in progress

Last week on the blog there wasn’t a great deal of detail about some of the things I’ve been throwing recently.

About a week ago I started working on some wheel thrown cylinder and bulb shaped mugs. Most of these have now been turned and their handles put on, they’re ready to go into the kiln for their biscuit firing.
