Leaf yarn bowl

Leaf yarn bowls are now available as made to order items from my Etsy shop! These are brand new for 2018. These are larger barrel shaped yarn bowls so they’ll accommodate everything from lace weight to a chunky style yarn. You can select them in all the colours from the glaze chart, it’s upto you to decide your favourite! They look striking in the ocean blue also they work really well in Natural Brown for an autumnal feel.

Yarn bowl seconds sale

Spring tends to be a quiet time for online sales so it’s time for a seconds sale. I was going to wait until the Easter holidays but after getting a few people emailing asking for in stock yarn bowls I think it’s time. After Christmas, Valentines and Mother’s Day the year really starts to feel like it’s settling down. With this in mind I’m having a small sale of yarn bowls over on Etsy.

Custom named yarn bowls

I’ve been getting a lot of emails lately about the ordering process for the named yarn bowls. These are the barrel shaped yarn bowls which have the lettering carved into the front of the piece. The slit for the yarn is formed in the first letter of the name. Every one of these is made individually as the order comes in so it’s made specifically for you.

Packaging!

Lately I’ve been getting a lot of emails from customers asking about packaging. To send pottery through the post does take a lot of careful packing so that it’ll arrive with you successfully.

Void Fill

I send out the majority of my work in double thickness cardboard boxes. These are pretty sturdy and thick boxes partially made from recycled cardboard pulp. You can in most areas recycle brown cardboard no problem in your recycling bin.
