If you’ve ordered from the shop lately you might be aware that I’ve been having problems with brilliant white. I ran out of it a few weeks ago and was struggling to get more. Orders in this colour are currently back ordered! It finally arrived this past Monday. I’ll be working through the orders currently outstanding next week.

More customisation options for pots

A few months back I started experimenting on a project using ceramic transfers. It’s not something I’ve really ever had experience with both in the designing and application of them. Lately a regular customer of ours wanted a more complex design for some mugs handed out as awards. So as part of the project I designed a ceramic transfer, I actually learnt a lot just by doing this.

48 hour parcel suspension

This past week Parcelforce suspended it’s 48 hour parcel delivery option for larger boxes. This means big orders or large items travelling internally in the UK cannot be dispatched at this time. Currently I’m doing what I can to work around this wherever possible. It does mean larger orders are now being dispatched in multiple smaller boxes rather than one big one.

Multi-buying offers

Multiple purchasing offers have been available in the shop for a while now and while the corona virus lockdown continues here in the UK it’s an offer that I think I’ll stick to for a while yet. Mini chord pulls

You may know that I make light pulls in different styles and can be glazed to order. I’ve often received requests to make smaller pulls, so many in fact I started working on a new range of mini light pulls. These smaller ones are ideal for smaller switches. If you have a bathroom mirror light, roman blinds or just don’t want a big bathroom light pull.

Coronavirus

Here we are in March now and things have gotten to be very serious very quickly. I thought I should update you on how things are going in the studio regarding Coronavirus.

At the moment the event I had planned to attend at the beginning of April now has been cancelled. Currently I’m anticipating that The Wool Monty will still go ahead in June but there may be social distancing still in place at that time. It’s something that no doubt will be communicated by the event itself closer to the time. At the moment June seems both a short time and a long way off!
