Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2016!

2015 has been another huge year for Little Wren Pottery and while every year is important it’s fascinating how much of a difference a year makes! I’ve been so busy in the lead up to the Christmas season which really started to ‘snowball’ in mid November leading to the early closure of made to order items.

Small businesses like mine really rely on the support and daily assistance of other people. It’s so easy when your making to get lost in the process and have very little time to stop and take stock.

There are all kinds of people who support Little Wren Pottery to make it happen on a daily, weekly, monthly basis not just at Christmas but all the year round. One of those people is you, yes YOU reading this right now. Thank you. If you’ve hearted a photo on Instagram, liked a post on Facebook, shared my work with your friends and purchased something from me. My business can’t roll on year after year without you, it’s always my hope to improve my work every year for you.

I’m also supported by my suppliers, particularly Bill Todd at Sedgefield Pottery Supplies who I buy all my equipment from. Without raw materials there would be no pots at all!

The staff at the post office also help me to bring Christmas to you every year, the vital job they do takes work directly from my studio and places it in your hands almost every day.

On a personal level I also feel the support of family and friends daily who are always there to share in life’s many ups and downs. Don’t forget this Christmas amongst all the hustle and bustle to try to spend some time with them, make some new memories and celebrate all the opportunities the new year brings.

Finally just to let you know I’ll be taking a break from the studio between the 23rd of December and the 4th of January. During this time I will still be responding to emails but I will not be making and glazing new pieces so there will be a delay to the dispatching of items early January. If you want to know the status of your order just get in touch!
