Saying goodbye to Red Jasper and Sage Green

Last week I updated the glaze chart to reflect a few of the changes taking place in the colour selections. Some of the limited edition colours are being phased out and the first two to go are Red Jasper and Sage green.

I do have a small amount of each glaze left but unfortunately not enough to now offer them as permanent colours in the glaze chart. Over the next few weeks I’ll be trying to use them up on smaller pieces such as mugs and small bowls.

The next glazes to go will be the Chocolate Brown and Mirror Black but probably not for a while yet. Hopefully late spring I’ll be updating the chart again with a couple of new colours.

I’ll be re-introducing a red glaze back into the shop since it’s a colour that always gets requested. It’ll also be joined by transparent which isn’t really a colour but again gets requested and is surprisingly popular!

If you have an outstanding order for pieces in either Jasper or Sage I’ll still be able to do this but once it’s gone that’s it.

hi Victoria, I’ve just stumbled across your website searching for perfect tea mugs and love yours…are you planning to do any grey glazes at all?

Hi Nell, I’m still thinking about changing up the glaze chart – I have been asked for grey in the past so it’s something I would like to add but unfortunately it does take a long time to develop new glazes. Especially when your not so good at it like I am! ha ha : )
