Last week was the Harrogate Knitting and Stitching show, if you met us there I’d just like to say thanks for dropping by! It was lovely to meet so many folks who stopped to chat and buy my work.
It was really interesting to see how many people who’d already heard of Little Wren Pottery and even a few who already had yarn bowls! I love the idea that my pieces start new lives with their owners and develop stories of their own along the way.
It’d been such a long time since I’d been to Harrogate, was nice to drink some real ale and eat pub grub. The exhibition center was quite impressive, really a maze of yarns, fabrics and machines! In amongst it all was the Royal Hall a rather grand theater where they were serving tea and coffee.
It feels like quite a big achievement to have successfully survived four days at a show, something I’d been working towards since the end of August. If you weren’t able to make it to Harrogate last weekend you can find me at the Designer’s Marketplace fair next Saturday from 11am at Middlesborough Town Hall.
If you have an order in with me you’ll be hearing from me in the next week or two as I try to get all the Christmas orders turned around before the big day! Wish me luck!
