UK Handmade – heirloom crafts

A few months back I blogged about having Mike Oakes over to the studio to take some pictures for a magazine article. You can now find that article live over on the UK Handmade website in their autumn edition.

The autumn edition is all about traditional crafts and passing down those skills to future generations as a relatively young maker I offer up my opinions, I hope that you’ll find it to be a slightly different perspective.

This coming Sunday you can come meet me in person at The Tyneside Cinema craft fair from 10am until 4pm. It’s my first time selling right in the centre of Newcastle! Drop by on the day and you can get 12% off hot drinks at the bar too.

Yours was the first article I read in this seasons’ UK Handmade magazine. Your passion and commitment to your craft really came across, but in not in a stuffy or stick in the mud kind of way. I find your pottery very appealing because it has an individuality about it.
