Win a handthrown pottery mug!

If you follow me on Twitter you might know that last week I talked about having a giveaway on my blog. I decided to go with the little red mug as the giveaway prize.

This is actually the first mug I ever threw on the wheel, maybe I shouldn’t give it away but I have plenty other pieces to get sentimental about.

You can see the marks in the clay where I’ve drawn it up, I pulled the handle and attached it to the pot. It has a level piece at the top for you to rest your thumb upon. Also its dishwasher safe so don’t worry about putting it in with your regular dishes.

In addition to the mug I might have a few little extras to give away – I’m going to be making some marshmallows in a couple of weeks(hint hint!).

If you want to enter there are two ways to do it.

1. Comment on my blog, say which piece in my shop you like the most.

2. Retweet (RT) or Tweet about my competition on Twitter.

I’ll enter all the entries I get into my spreadsheet of wonder and using a random number generator this will pick who wins.

You must leave a way for me to contact you either via email or twitter. Closing date for the contest is Sunday May 9th. Thanks and good luck!

Brown and green speckled milk jug pitcher is so gorgeous I have a sugar bowl I picked up in a pottery gallery in Falmouth thats not quite the same and I prefer the colour of yours.

What an honour it would be to get your first piece, I would cherish it thanks

What an amazing thing to give away! I hope it goes to a home where it will be properly respected, even if I don’t win.
But I do hope I win!;)

I really like your Northern Lights mugs- I’ll never understand how you wheel-throwers can get individual pieces so close to each other in size and shape just by eyeball and touch!
